GOD IN HIS COSMOS
Several years back Im read a book titled "The Death of God" by John Owen, a brilliant thought provoking book. At around the same time I got to see some magnificent pictures of the Universe taken by the Hubble Telescope. We will now get still more exciting photos of the Universe from the James Webb Telescope launched 4 days back. These pictures and Owen's book made me think of God in a very different way. The last two slides contain my short essay on God.

"Priye Paha" was sung and made famous by Prabhakar Karekar more than 50 years back. This recording is from a private home concert in Shrewsbury, MA, 28th October 2005. Karekar has sung this with great abandon and gusto. Accompaniments on Tabla Rohidas Parab, Harmonium Anant Joshi, Tanpura Pradeep Shukla. .

We met Roop Verma for the first time in 1982 when he came to our home for three days with Pandit Ravi Shankar and Ustad Allah Rakhha for their concert. in Worcester.
